TimberLight Glow candles are created with wellbeing in mind. Rather than simply fragrancing a room, each blend is thoughtfully created using pure essential oils chosen to complement a particular mood or moment — from unwinding and relaxation to focus, positivity and grounding.
Every candle is hand-poured in Yorkshire using EcoCoco coconut & rapeseed wax and pure essential oils.
No. Our aromatherapy candles are fragranced using pure essential oils rather than synthetic fragrance oils.
This is an important part of the TimberLight Glow philosophy and gives our candles their naturally aromatic character.
We use EcoCoco coconut & rapeseed wax, a plant-based wax chosen for its clean, even burn and suitability for our essential-oil candles.
Our candles are made using plant-based coconut & rapeseed wax and pure essential oils, with no intentionally added animal-derived ingredients.
Every TimberLight Glow candle is hand-poured in our Yorkshire studio in small batches, before being individually finished, labelled and packed.

Essential-oil candles offer a different scent experience from heavily fragranced synthetic candles. The aroma is designed to complement your space rather than overpower it.
Scent strength can vary depending on the essential oils within each blend, the size of your room, ventilation and how long the candle has been burning.
Synthetic fragrance oils can be formulated specifically to produce a very strong or persistent fragrance.
Pure essential oils are naturally derived aromatic materials and tend to produce a more nuanced scent experience. Individual essential oils also have their own characteristics, so some blends will naturally smell brighter, deeper or more pronounced than others.
Our functional aromatherapy candles are created around a particular mood, atmosphere or ritual.
Each blend combines essential oils traditionally associated with qualities such as relaxation, positivity, focus or grounding. They are intended to complement your wellbeing rituals and enjoyment of your space rather than diagnose, treat or prevent any medical condition.

Burn time can vary depending on how the candle is used, the environment in which it is burned and how consistently the wick is maintained.
Following our Candle Care guidance will help you achieve a clean, even burn and get the best possible life from your candle.
On the first burn, allow the wax to melt evenly towards the edges of the jar. Before each subsequent burn, trim the wick to approximately 5mm.
We recommend burning your candle for no longer than four hours at a time, keeping it away from draughts and always placing it on a stable, heat-resistant surface.

Stop burning your candle when approximately 10mm of wax remains at the bottom of the container. Continuing to burn beyond this point can cause the base of the jar to become excessively hot.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.

We currently deliver exclusively within the UK using Royal Mail Tracked 48.
As our candles are hand-poured and orders are carefully prepared by hand, please allow approximately 2–3 business days for your order to be prepared and dispatched.
Standard UK delivery is £3.65.
We offer free UK delivery on orders of £45 or more.
The Signature Discovery Set includes complimentary UK delivery as standard.

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible with your order details and photographs of the damaged item and packaging so that we can help put things right.
Absolutely. Our candles make lovely gifts and every order is carefully packed to arrive beautifully presented.
